The role:
As Service Technician, this role reports to the State Manager to deliver the Company’s customer service brand and experience in all areas of service, installations, commissioning preventative maintenance on-site repairs to our building capital equipment.
As part of small to medium Service Team, you enjoy working on your own or working with colleagues to complete service assignments, support projects and installs.
You will deliver in achieving these tasks:
- Safe working at all times
- Assess electro mechanical faults and provide solutions
- Complete service tasks within costs, time and quality standards at all times
- Work on weekends or on call where required
- Work with site supervisors to complete repairs or installs
- Complete required documentations per standard
- Understand SWMS, WHS requirements including incident and hazards reporting
- Assistance with stock take
- Represent the Company that reflects our Values and customer service standards
As Ideal candidate:
You must have at least 2-3 year’s experience as Service Technician in capital equipment/building industry. You have a focused attitude, competent in conversing and dealing with clients regarding our Service Offerings as well as knowledge of health and safety operations. Other requirements also include:
- Mechanical knowledge and fault identification skills
- Knowledge of hydraulics would a plus
- The ability to work at heights
- Industry white card
- Able to work flexibly including call outs or over time as required
- Electrical Qualification or Reconnect /disconnect desirable
- Personable and ability to take directions well
- Fit and able to travel and work off hours where required
- Clear/Near Clear driving history and consent to go through integrity checks including medical with D&A
