Concept Engineering have been providing labour hire and recruitment services to industry for over 40 years.
We now have an immediate vacancy for a Maintenance and reliability Supervisor/Technichian to provide preventative maintenance and breakdown repairs and oversee all aspects of the preventative maintenance process in this manufacturing facility based in Truganina.
We are seeking applications from fitters who have experience in a maintenance planning function but who also enjoy working in the production environment and the challenges and rewards that come with it.
Both hydraulic and pneumatic experience is required and an electrical connect/disconnect licence would be highly regarded.
As this is a supervisory role, the successful candidate will possess strong people skills and communicate extremely well.
Other associated duties will include;
- Coordinate external plant/service maintenance contracts
- Assiting to identify things that may go wrong and actions to prevent them
- Actively promote and implement lean principles (Kaizen, 5S, EOW)
- Develop and document training materials
- Drive cost reduction
- Assist corrective actions which result in scrap elimination
- monitor, maintain and participate in safety systems
- Generate weekly & monthly reports Be responsible for 24 hour emergency maintenance service
