The Marble Man is seeking a motivated, energetic and enthusiastic team player, with excellent customer service, hands on skills and wants to learn something new everyday, to join our growing business in our Sydney team. We are after a long term team member who will grow with the business for the many years to come in the future.
We specialise in Polishing, Repairing, Cleaning & Sealing marble and other stone surfaces. Our successful and reputable business, based with head office on the Gold Coast, has been servicing Northern NSW to the Sunshine Coast for the past 25 years. We have now been operating in Sydney, Canberra and Newcastle for the last 5 years. Due to an increased demand for Stone Restoration in the Sydney area we now require another full time on site technician dedicated to the Sydney area.
Training
You will receive full training on our stone restoration processes and procedures. NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED.
Position Details
You will be responsible for polishing, restoring, cleaning and maintaining stone surfaces in prestige homes and buildings, dealing with clients face to face in order to leave a positive lasting impression with every client.
Eventually you will be responsible for completing jobs by yourself in a company supplied van with all equipment.
Experience
NO EXPERIENCE REQUIRED. You must be good with your hands, love to see a finished result and enjoy problem solving. If you like pulling things apart needing to know how they work this position is for you. You must also be able to communicate with clients and build rapore to a high level and have a clean cut respectable appearance.
Best Suited Too:
This position is best suited to good cleaners, spray painters, french polishers, boat fibreglass and detailers, car detailers, and anything else that requires an eye for detail and don't want to work in a factory. Chefs can also be good for this role if you are looking at getting out of hospitality industry.
