Your new company
A leading Australian household food manufacturer, working with a number of iconic brands across the Australian market is currently looking to expand the Maintenance Team, with the addition of a Maintenance Fitter. With a passion for their brand clearly demonstrated across the business, there is an excellent opportunity to join this manufacturer on an immediate basis, located in Western Sydney.
Your new job
This role reports into the Maintenance Supervisor working in a small maintenance team.
- You will be required to carry out all preventative maintenance duties, breakdowns and assist on project work.
- You will perform maintenance on Blenders, Ovens, Chillers, Mixers, and conveyor systems.
- You will also be critical to plant improvements and be active in any recommendations to plant upgrades.
What you'll need to succeed
To be part of this exciting manufacturer you will have extensive experience as a Maintenance Fitter working within a food manufacturer, you will understand HACCP and working to food grade standards.
- It is essential you can conduct mechanical maintenance on highly automated production machinery.
- Working on a continuous manufacturing line you will have mechanical experience on a equipment from raw ingredients, through cooking and finally the packaging stages.
- You should be a self-starter, and willing to proactively improve the plant with your ideas.
