About the Role
We are currently seeking a Baseline cleared Shift Supervisor to play an integral part in managing the day-to-day operations of a high profile Defence Site – Russell Offices, located in Canberra.
Reporting to the Regional Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and performance of the site and will provide visible leadership, direction and issue resolution at the front line of service, ensuring efficiency and effectiveness are maintained at a consistent level.
Responsibilities of the role include, but are not limited to:
- Deliver operations excellence with an emphasis on customer service to ensure the operational needs are met.
- Direct liaison with client representatives and their customers.
- Staff supervision and frontline performance management.
- Frontline response to operational issues.
- Investigation into security incidents and outcome reporting.
- Communication & implementation of processes and procedures to enhance client service delivery.
- Promote security awareness, interacting with staff and key stakeholders
To be considered for this position, you will have;
- A minimum of 12 months experience working in the security industry.
- Proven experience in leading a large security team.
- The confidence and ability to take ownership of the service delivery on site.
- An ability to manage client and employee relationships.
- A sound understanding of WH&S issues and the ability to manage identified risks.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- The ability to liaise with people at all levels.
- The ability to produce high quality performance reports.
- Intermediate levels of computer literacy (Microsoft products).
- Ability to liaise with the rostering and operations team to facilitate a cost effective operational roster in accordance with client operational and Wilson Security requirements.
- Availability to work shift work, with the flexibility to adjust rostered shift times, as required with the aim of ensuring that client and operational requirements are met.
