Temporary position available with the NSW Government. At this stage this a temporary role working Monday - Friday.

We are seeking applicants who have demonstrated experience in the repair and maintenance of Slated roof, and assists with the planning and/or delivery of a range of assigned infrastructure project tasks, or may manage small scale infrastructure projects with low to medium risk and complexity in order that time, cost, quality, safety, targets and the organisational objectives and client expectations are met.

• Successful completion of roofing apprenticeship.
• Well-developed knowledge and understanding of current Work Health and Safety legislation and regulations. 
• A valid NSW Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive to remote locations which may include overnight stays.
• Must have own hand tools. 

Duties of this role will involve undertaking repair and maintenance works such as:

• Assist with the planning and delivery assigned projects with low complexity with the assistance of a more experienced Roofing and by applying standard organisational procedures 
• Be responsive and accurate with all client interactions and requests and deliver tasks to best practice standards and client requirements to contribute to building and maintaining effective client relationships and business partnerships 
• Assist in training the Apprentice in the scope of the role and safety requirements 
• Deliver tasks in accordance with cost budgets to contribute to business performance

Applicants will need to be willing and able to work outside of normal hours and complete overtime as required to progress or complete assigned tasks including emergency repair works in accordance with a callout roster.
