WTC Earthmoving is seeking an experienced, full-time trade qualified Plant Mechanic to join our family-owned business in Narrabri. We require a person to maintain and repair various plant and equipment in our workshop and on various mine sites as required.The successful candidate will have:

• A relevant trade certificate & qualification (heavy vehicle mechanic qualifications essential)
• NSW Class C Drivers Licence essential, HR Drivers licence preferred
• Experience in the preventative maintenance, servicing and repair of heavy duty diesel engines
• Experience with Caterpillar, Komatsu & Hitachi equipment – scrapers, graders, dozers and excavators. Extensive knowledge on scrapers would be favourable
• Welding and fabrication experience
• Fault finding and diagnostic experience
• Experience in meeting multiple task deadlines
• Well-developed communication skills
• A commitment to safe work practices
• The ability to work unsupervised
• To upkeep and maintain service/maintenance records, and upload them to our system
• The ability to pass a medical and D&A test
