The Role
We're seeking a vibrant and enthusiastic Print Room Operator to join our team to effectively deliver contracted print services on a client's site in Sydney’s CBD (Casual ongoing/on call). The desired candidate will need to have strong knowledge & experience delivering digital print jobs, finishing and collation of documents. Previous experience working within a busy print room environment is essential, as well as having exceptional customer service skills and enjoy working within a team.
 
The key responsibilities in this role are:

• Priorities and co-ordinate job requests to ensure the most efficient possible outcome
• Converting files to a compatible format, including manipulating data for printing and/or copying
• Scanning and preparing documents that require manipulation (e.g. cut, paste, sizing)
• Comb/wire bind documents
• Copy/produce USBs for Transaction Bibles
• Attention to detail and a focus on quality and accuracy in the reproduction of documentation
• General administration to support the print room

 
Mandatory requirements:
All successful applicants will need to complete a police check. The Person

• Previous experience working within a high volume print room environment.
• Experience operating digital print devices and finishing equipment (binders, laminators, guillotine, etc)
• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work autonomously and within a team environment
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong sense of quality standards
• Demonstrated experience in delivering a high level of customer service
