Background
The Centre for Work-Based Learning and Continuing Development, which is part of the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing, provides flexible, responsive and bespoke packages of learning. Packages are tailored to suit the continuing development needs of individuals, teams, services or organisations.The Role
This exciting, innovative post will see you lead the development and maintenance of strong relationships with a number of key external stakeholders (including schools, colleges, and health and care employers) across a broad range of strategic and operational initiatives that aim to maximise our student recruitment numbers. The work undertaken by the Lead will have a direct impact upon the profile of the Faculty and the portfolio of programmes.
Requirements
The role will provide opportunities to teach across the Centre’s programmes, which include such topics as academic development, change management, evidence-based practice and social care. The post will incorporate teaching, research/scholarship and knowledge transfer, so ensuring that the educational experience is realistic, evidence-based and focussed to local workforce needs.
As an experienced health or social care professional, you will be able to evidence continued personal and professional development. Additional Information
The post is fixed term until November 2019 on a 1.0fte basis.
