Main Purpose of the Post
In partnership with other Transformational Leads, this individual will be responsible for the University’s People Performance agenda e.g. Professional Development Reviews, promotion and probation, ensuring outcomes are aligned to the University’s strategic aims. Highly visible and role modelling exceptional leadership, they will develop capability and insight in advance of organisation need. They will shape and align the flexible and aspirational Performance function based on a long term view of the organisation’s direction, shaping and aligning the Performance strategy accordingly.
Acting with a strong sense of purpose and a dynamic vision for developing talent, and the wider organisation, they will confidently advise and challenge senior leaders utilising their professional expertise. They will continually evaluate their own impact, that of their team and of the overall function in order to improve as a professional and drive sustainable performance.
