In order to achieve this we are investing in our professional services administration staff, building a team that will support the growth of the School, whilst providing an excellent experience for our students. Therefore the University of Leicester, School of Business is looking to recruit a Marketing and Events Co-ordinator. The Marketing and Events Co-ordinator plays a key role in supporting the School’s marketing activities and assisting with the implementation of the School’s external relations strategy.
Main responsibilities in this role will include working with the School of Business’ Marketing and Events Team with responsibility for the planning and co-ordinating of events and supporting in the development of marketing communications and student recruitment activity. The post-holder will work closely with the Marketing Officer to implement marketing plans and increase marketing effectiveness.
You will have good IT skills, particularly in MS Office and administrative experience within a busy environment. Excellent customer service experience, oral and written communication skills are essential, as well as the ability to deal with a range of tasks and deadlines. Previous experience of working in a marketing or events role in a Higher Education setting would be desirable.
