Offering courses in art, design, architecture, media and performance, we are passionate about our specialist subjects and dedicated both to education and the creative industries which we serve.The Southern Universities Network (SUN) comprises a number of higher education providers, further education colleges, schools, and other organisations in Dorset, Hampshire and the Isle of Wight. It is part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) http://www.hefce.ac.uk/sas/ncop/ initiative. The new HEFCE-funded project aims to increase the number of young people from disadvantaged backgrounds in Higher Education by 2020.You will support the delivery of the SUN outreach programme both on-and-off campus to targeted students, teachers, parents/carers and advisers, in accordance with the aims and objectives of NCOP. This post will see the successful candidate based at the Arts University Bournemouth, working under the direction of the SUN Project Leader.The successful candidate will have experience of working with young people and knowledge of the education sector. You will possess excellent communication, organisation and inter-personal skills. You will be a team player who will relish the challenge of working in a collaborative setting.
