We are rapidly developing our post graduate and research programmes in a cross-disciplinary setting, involving wide collaboration in the UK and overseas.
An opportunity has arisen for a dynamic, experienced nurse educator to lead the development of a contemporary adult nursing programme. This is to be done in partnership with local NHS partners and stakeholders to ensure a programme that meets NHS values for nurses and meets employer-led needs for a more locally trained, diverse workforce in health and social care services in east London.
The Head of Pre-Registration Nursing and Simulated Learning will be a key position within the Department of Health and Nursing, responsible for continuing to establish nursing as a new subject area and working as part of a core management team to assure the quality of nursing and health-related educational provision within the University.
The successful candidate will be a Registered Nurse and Registered Nurse teacher with extensive experience of curriculum development and management of pre-registration nursing programmes to include simulated learning in partnership with colleagues, employers, professional bodies and stakeholders. You will be highly motivated and committed to developing nursing at the University of East London through an innovative programme that provides an excellent student experience whilst ensuring that nurses emerging from this programme are fit for graduate employability within the NHS and healthcare sector.
