About the role
In this role, you will be developing and delivering the University’s public engagement programme of events, working to support achieving Bath Spa University’s target for increasing the impact of its research for REF 2021.
In collaboration with key stakeholders, you will be responsible for planning, delivering, and evaluating impactful public engagement events. You will work towards achieving a positive culture of public engagement, achieving community engagement and public benefit for our research outputs.
About you (requirements)
With proven abilities in understanding, evidencing and communicating the impact and public benefit of academic research, you will work closely with academic staff to realise and demonstrate research impact. The successful candidates will have excellent written and verbal communications skills, and the ability to understand and explain complex subjects in a way that is easily understood by non-specialists. As a creative workplace, we are seeking an individual with the ability to develop innovative methods of communication to succeed in achieving the objectives of this post.
