The School of Life Sciences at the University of Sussex seeks to appoint an outstanding individual to deliver teaching across all branches of Chemistry (Organic, Inorganic, and Physical) within the Chemistry degree programmes. The post-holder will be expected to undertake a range of teaching duties including, but not restricted to, laboratory demonstrating and marking and workshops. The appointment is for one year.
Sussex Chemistry delivers Chemistry degree programmes which are very highly ranked by our undergraduates. For example, Sussex Chemistry is currently ranked 4th for Chemistry in the UK (Guardian University Guide 2018); is in the top 5 in the UK for graduate prospects (Guardian University Guide 2018); and received a 96% overall satisfaction score in the National Student Survey in 2016.
