Are you highly skilled in the design and delivery of healthcare education? Are you experienced in the integration between academic and professional learning? Do you have a commitment to widening participation?
As Deputy Programme Manager you will work on programmes designed for clinical support workers who are part of the workforce delivering health and social care in a range of settings. You will be responsible for teaching modules for the Assistant Practitioner and Nursing Associate programmes and providing support for learners from diverse backgrounds. You will also assist the Programme Manager in student support, supervision of projects, recruitment, professional networking and play a key role in the introduction of apprenticeships.
The integration between academic and professional learning is a key feature of the programmes. So you will need a firm grounding in healthcare both from an academic and professional perspective and a thorough understanding of the requirements of the roles of the Assistant Practitioner and Nursing Associate.
