Global control of Campylobacter jejuni biology by protein-lysine aceylation
The laboratory of Prof David Kelly (http://www.sheffield.ac.uk/mbb/staff/kelly) in the Department of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology (MBB) seeks a postdoctoral scientist to work on a BBSRC funded project that aims to elucidate how post-translational protein modifications, particularly acetylation, controls the biology of the important food-borne pathogen Campylobacter jejuni.
The successful applicant will have (or soon expect to obtain) a PhD in an area of molecular microbiology or biochemistry, or have equivalent experience and will have experimental skills in bacterial genetics, biochemistry, mass spectrometry, functional genomics or microbial physiology.
