This role provides a wonderful opportunity to work in the education sector, supporting an academic environment with specialist technical skills and knowledge. Adding to the existing technical team, this role will help support AV systems and the implementation of learning technology across our learning environment, in the process assisting our AV Specialist Technicians to support academic delivery. Working within the college technical team and alongside academics the role will be instrumental in developing and improving our students’ ability to successfully understand and challenge the world around us.

You will be part of a technical team supporting AV technology, projection systems and digital displays across the learning environment. This will include maintaining classrooms and specialist digital resources, developing AV systems, first line maintenance and installing equipment for projects and events. Working with the local College Technical Team the successful applicant will support and promote Digital Technology and be part of the team filming live events, supporting digital learning technology and video capture systems. You may on occasion be asked to work flexibly within the team to support College events.

We are looking for a creative, self-motivated person who can also contribute to the technological development of the department. You should have a qualification within the relevant area and have industry experience in the area of AV Display or Learning Technology. The successful applicant will have knowledge of maintaining presentation and AV systems, problem solving in digital technology and work well as part of a team.
