This new part-time post (29.2 hours per week) is available from immediately on a permanent basis in the College of Social Science and International Studies.

The College wishes to recruit a Manager for our Institute of Arab and Islamic Studies (IAIS) to work with and support the Director of the institute in realising the institute’s vision for the future; focussing on implementing strategies in the longer term and managing the institute on a day to day basis. The Manager will be required to provide cohesive administrative support to the Director, academics, students and staff based in IAIS.

The successful applicant will be responsible for planning and prioritising a busy and varied workload and will be expected to contribute to a range of key strategic projects and activities to develop the Institute. The right person will be confident and effective in dealing with people at the highest level, both nationally and internationally, with a proven capacity and vision to lead and deliver projects.
