The role
The Venues Wellington Operations Team is looking for a proactive and personable individual to join the team as our Operations Team Leader.
This is a key role within our team so we’re looking for someone who’s a natural leader, strong communicator, meticulous organiser, and is ready to get stuck in with the team.
Reporting to the Operations Delivery Manager, you will provide leadership and training to the operations team on the floor. With an eye for detail, you will ensure that all of our Venues are immaculately presented to client standards. You will lead from the front and by example, ensuring the team are working safely, efficiently and collaboratively.
Working closely with the Operations Delivery Manager, you will also manage our SOP’s and SWMS documents, ensure rostering efficiency, and assist in equipment maintenance and repairs.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- A proven ability to motivate and manage a team in order to deliver operational setups of a high standard within the set and often tight timelines
- 2 or more years’ experience in a similar environment dealing with Operational Equipment
- An awareness of customer needs
- An ability to build collaborative relationships with team members, suppliers and clients and supply partners.
This role involves being part of a roster and carrying out duties during days, evening, weekends and public holidays as required.
