Build your career by joining a New Zealand owned company specialising in water meters, based on Auckland’s North Shore. They provide high quality products and services to the New Zealand water industry including:
- Calibration and testing
- Reconditioning and repairing
- Supply of new domestic, industrial and bulk flow meters
- Meter hireage
They are looking for someone who is technically minded, hands on with good computer skills and able to manage the on-site water meter related services.
You will be responsible for:
- Water meter replacements and maintenance
- Reconditioning and servicing water meters
- Programming and installing electronic meter reading equipment
- Organising and supervising in-house and on-site work
- Maintaining the test facilities IANZ accreditation (back up)
- Testing and calibrating water meters
- Assisting in stores as required
You must have:
- Water Reticulations Certification (non negotiable)
- On site experience installing meters, mechanisms and electronic devices (minimum of 3 years)
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multi task and work autonomously
- Self motivation and the ability to prioritise
- High level of computer skills
You will work well under pressure with an ability to “think on your feet”, show initiative and offer solutions. This role will suit a mature well disciplined person with proven work experience in this field.
