About the role
Torque Digital have a rare opportunity for a Senior Signwriter to join their successful and innovative team.
Working in a niche team of signwriters you will be part of a wider company of specialists. You will provide high quality in-house and off-site signage services, be responsible for some of the more technical aspects of the role, as well as providing guidance to some of the other signwriters.
Specifically you will:
- Mount boards, apply vehicle graphics, window graphics and other substrates
- Fabricate and install ACM Fascias and lightbox graphics
- Apply office and window frostings, and install retail POS displays/signage
- Use vinyl cutter and related software
- Work with the signage team and graphic designer on creative signage solutions
- Prioritise and multi-task between jobs
- Represent the company on client sites and while driving Torque’s branded vehicles.
About you
You will be a true team player with a friendly, proactive attitude and be looking for the next step in your career. You will have a mature approach to your work and be able to self-manage in a bustling environment. Additionally, you will be able to tick the following:
- 3-5 years’ experience as a signwriter will be essential
- Extensive vinyl application and knowledge of different grades
- Proven experience self-managing projects from conception to completion
- Excellent communication skills
- Some experience training or providing direction to staff will be useful
- Takes pride in all work carried out
- High level of quality control and an eye for detail
- Works well under pressure and be able to prioritise
- Full driver licence essential.
