They are a currently looking for an Asset Accountant to join their close knitted and high calibre team.
  
What.
Reporting to Financial Controller, you will be responsible for providing both fixed and intangible asset management (PPE and inventory) and WIP management. Working collaboratively with the whole finance team and the wider business with processes and systems improvements. This will include

• Review project setup information with CAPEX/OPEX
• Work collaboratively with Project Managers on capitalisation and WIP
• Asset management preparing accounting and tax reconciliations
• Document cost base calculations and depreciation rate determination for both tax and accounting fixed asset registers
• Tax deprecation Forecasting for provisional tax payments
• Budgeting and spend variations
• Financial reporting with annual review of the Fixed Asset Registers
• Continuously reviewing processes and systems improvement
• Assisting with Ad hoc projects  

Who.
You will be someone who has completing or completed your CA qualification with 3-4 years Accounting experience. Ideally, you will have worked in a high volume, compliance-driven reporting environment and have excellent technical accounting skills. Most importantly, possess strong communication skills to be able to influence and engage with non-finance stakeholders. It is essential that you have knowledge and experience with managing fixed assets.
