Matamata Industrial Machinery Imports Limited (MIMICO) sells, hires and services heavy machinery for the quarrying, mining, contracting, construction, recycling and forestry industries. MIMICO is the New Zealand distributor for Metso Rock Crushers and Screens, Kobelco Excavators, KCM Loaders, Moxy Dump Trucks, CESCO Concrete Mixer Units, ZF Construction Parts & Mixer Drives, Atlas Copco Rock Breakers, and manufacturers of Lamella Portable Waste Water Treatment Plants.
Due to continued growth and a focus on product support, we are looking for an experienced Diesel Mechainc to join our service team in Matamata. This role offers a variety of servicing and repairs on a wide range of heavy machinery and brands including Kolbelco, Atlas Copco and Moxy. This role is based both in the workshop and in the field as required.
To meet the requirements of this role, you will:
- Be a trade qualified Diesel Mechanic or relevant industry experience
- Experience servicing heavy machinery
- Experience with engine, transmission and hydraulic systems
- Familiar with computerised control systems for heavy equipment
- Willing to work flexible hours to meet customer demands
- Possess excellent diagnostic and problem solving abilities
- Have a proven work history which displays high quality workmanship and work ethic
