Carpenter/Handyman
An exciting opportunity exists at Auckland Grammar School for an exceptional carpenter/handyman. This full time, permanent position offers plenty of variety and opportunity for developing your trade. As our school carpenter/handyman, you will carry out corrective and preventative maintenance across the various facilities of the School, self-prioritise maintenance requests, and oversee and complete School project work that arises. This role has scope for management responsibility – coordinating the various subcontractors that may be required from time to time to assist with corrective maintenance around the School.
Our ideal candidate will be an experienced carpenter or handyman, who is self-motivated, enjoys managing their own work and priorities, and has a fantastic 'can do' attitude. Reporting to the Property Manager, this role is part of a small and cohesive Property team.

Hours of work: Approximately 7am – 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
