About the business
We are a busy family living in Northland, Wellington looking for a warm, kind and experienced nanny to look after our four children after school.
About the role
THE JOB
This role is all about looking after our four gorgeous children after school:
Girl 2.5 y/o (attends preschool)
Boy 5 y/o (at school)
Girl 6.5 y/o (at school)
Boy 8 y/o (at school)
THE HOURS
Normal hours will be 2pm - 6.30pm Monday - Friday but this is negotiable for the right candidate.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Preparing evening meal before 3pm pick-up (we use "Bargain Box" so there are simple recipes to follow)
- Picking up children from preschool / school using family vehicle
- Caring for children after school - helping them with homework, playing with them, talking to them about their days, assisting them to unpack bags, preparing them after-school snack and dinner etc
-- Communicating with school / preschool and ensuring information flows through to Mum and Dad
OUR FAMILY
Our house is a ten minute walk from the local school and overlooks a large park in a quiet cul-de-sac where the children like to play.
Mum and Dad both work full-time but we ensure we come home early some evenings to catch up with the children.
We have grandparents living locally who can help out with getting children to after-school activities etc.

Skills and experience
- Full drivers licence required
- Prefer a candidate with a tertiary qualification ideally in education or similar.
- Prefer a candidate with extensive experience caring for children (5 years plus).
