We are a service provider for Local and Regional Councils in waste water, water treatment and flood pumping applications.

Offering end-to-end delivery means Control Tech electricians are involved in the design & build, installation and commissioning of projects, as well as remote monitoring & control and site maintenance.
A person with an Industrial background and either existing automation skills or strong interest to further develop these skills would be an advantage.
Due to ongoing business growth we are looking for someone who:
- Has good communication skills and enjoys working as a team
- Can self-manage, is trust worthy and can also work independently
- Has excellent work ethics with a commitment to quality and safe working practices
- Is confident with fault finding, investigation and problem solving
- Has a good knowledge of PLC's, AC motors and VSD's
- Has a good knowledge of electrical and instrumentation including control systems
- Has a sound knowledge and understanding of the mechanical background of pumping applications
- Can work away from home for short periods of time
They must have:
- A current NZ Electrical Practising License - Trade Cert/Advanced Trade Cert would be an advantage
- A NZ Full Drivers License with a good history
As we work throughout the Bay of Plenty, an applicant who wished to reside in Whakatane, Tauranga or Opotiki will be considered.
Hourly rate or a salary package will be negotiated above industry rates with the right person.
