PGD Service Foreman

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Service Foreman to supervise our Generator Service Technicians ensuring we are providing high quality technical and mechanical support to all TransDiesel's existing and prospective customers.
As Health and Safety is paramount in this industry you will be up to speed with practices and be able to demonstrate this in your work habits. This knowledge will help you to promote the company image in a professional manner as well as provide first class customer service.

To be successful in this role you ideally will have experience as a Service Foreman or have performed to a high level in a service maintenance workshop and be responsible for the service and repair work produced by the Power Generation team. Be able to lead and manage a team of technicians, allocate and distribute jobs to technicians according to their skills ensuring effective and efficient work performance is maintained.

You will also be able to carry out and/or oversee repairs and maintenance of all generator products, prepare jobs for invoicing, prepare estimates/ quotes for work to be carried out and liaise internally about jobs.

Together with your strong interpersonal and communication skills, you will be a motivated self-starter, able to work with minimal supervision. A positive and enthusiastic attitude, whilst working under pressure is a must.
