Our client, a fast-growing food manufacturing company, is looking for a QA Coordinator to join their Auckland based team.
Reporting to the Factory QA Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring quality products are being generated at the factory through standard procedures and processes of testing, cleaning and communication to all areas within the factory. Working closely with the production team, you will identify and lead areas of process improvements, lead non-conformance and problem-solving meetings and conduct HACCP risk assessments.
To be considered, you will have strong communication and management skills and will need to work closely with the manufacturing team. You will be able to anticipate problems and use your technical knowledge to solve these and to make improvements with regards to quality and food safety.
This role will suit candidates that enjoy working in a busy production environment.
- Tertiary qualification with a major in Chemistry, Microbiology or Food Science
- Minimum 2 years Quality Assurance experience in the food or dairy industry
- Strong ISO/HACCP experience
- Good understanding of GHP and GMP
- Able to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication, time management and organisational skills
- Deliver results within tight deadlines
