About the role:

We are looking for a talented Accounts Administrator to join our Shared Services team while our team member is on maternity leave. You will have prior experience in the role of accounting administrator preferably within a shared service environment. You will be working in a tight knit team of professionals who value clear communication and the willingness to get stuck in to get the job done. This role will support both the Shared Services team and PACT Business Units in New Zealand and Australia.

Your skills will include knowledge of and ability with the following:

  • Coding expense claims and invoices
  • Entering time sheets, creation of invoices and month end journals
  • Accrual journals for group expenditure such as travel and NZ Customs
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Raising purchase orders and goods receipts
  • Assisting with team deadlines at month end
  • Monthly reporting for key GL accounts
  • Preparation of NZ Statistics surveys

The following attributes are essential for the right person:

  • Proficiency in Excel and SAP (desirable)
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Ideally working towards Business/Commerce degree
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change
  • Being responsible and accountable with a professional attitude in all dealings
  • Customer service focus
  • Focused on continuous improvement
