They offer investment services focused on helping New Zealand’s middle market companies grow. They are a small, experienced and hardworking team looking to employ an experienced Accounts Administrator to join their team.

The position is ideally suited to someone who would like to work 20 hours per week, with flexibility around hours and days of work.

We are looking for someone with a friendly personality, a positive attitude, the confidence to communicate across many levels and the ability to see what is needed and a strong desire to get it done.

The responsibilities include:

  • Processing Accounts Payable and Receivable
  • Back up to Payroll – 6 staff
  • General office administration
  • Booking travel and accommodation
  • Updating website
  • Preparation of documents for board meetings
  • Liaising with stakeholders
  • Ordering office supplies

To be considered for this position you will need:

  • Xero experience
  • The ability to do accounts to trial balance
  • Genuine commitment to working 20 hours per week
  • Proven competence to look after a sole charge accounts role
  • A team player – a willingness to say yes and help the team succeed in their goals
  • To work independently and have sound judgement skills
  • Detail orientated, and have excellent organisation skills
  • A great communicator – both written and verbal
  • Enjoy a variety of tasks and the ability to multi-task
  • Confident using a variety of programs and the computer (CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite etc.)
