About the role:

We are seeking an outgoing and organised Project Services Coordinator to join our Auckland Project Services team. This is an opportunity to work on some of New Zealand's largest commercial deals and litigation projects that are helping define New Zealand's future! This is a great opportunity for someone with legal experience, who is looking for a change.

The Project Services Coordinator is responsible for using methods of hard copy and electronic document management to provide legal staff with access to relevant information. The Project Services Coordinator is also responsible for organising and listing large volumes of documents for major litigation and due diligence projects, as well as the set-up, maintenance and use of litigation support databases, electronic data processing and data manipulation tools.

Other duties include assisting with document collection, providing advice and assistance to legal teams as well as carrying out searches as required and generating reports from databases, among other things.

Ideally you will have a tertiary qualification in law or IT, or have previous experience in the legal industry. You will be an enthusiastic team player who takes initiative and has a questioning mind.

Relevant Skills and Experience:

· Assisting Litigation teams with discovery, including processing of the discovery documents, coding document information in the Litigation Support tool, assisting with preparation of inspection documents;

· Assisting Commercial teams with due diligence where necessary;

· Preparation and copying of casebooks; bundles of documents; agreed bundles; affidavits; briefs of evidence; pleadings and indexes;

· Creating and maintaining file inventories and controlling the location and identity of client files and CT working files, both electronically and physically;

· Editing of database contents/images; and

· Carrying out searches as required and generating reports from the database.
