Comprising of Eichardt's Private Hotel & Eichardt’s Bar, The Grille by Eichardt’s Restaurant, The Spire Hotel and No.5 Church Lane Bar & Restaurant - Imperium Collection of Boutique Hotels is the benchmark of luxury travel, accommodation and dining in Queenstown and New Zealand.

We are seeking a Financial or Management Accountant to be the dedicated Finance resource for all Imperium Collection commercial operations. You will work closely with local managers within the businesses and also remotely with Group Financial Controller.

Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, your responsibilities will include:

• Drive budgeting and forecasting process
• Financial analysis for key business stakeholders
• Preparation of board reports
• Balance sheet reconciliations / month end reporting
• Preparation of annual financial statements
• Maintenance of fixed asset register
• Preparation of audit binders
• Preparation of daily cash flow forecasting and reporting
• Calculating statutory payment obligations 

To be successful in this role, you will have the following attributes:

• Degree in Commerce or Business
• CPA/CA qualification 
• Proven experience as a Financial or Management Accountant
• Previous experience in hospitality desirable only
• Commercial acumen, specifically the knowledge, experience and thinking ability required to plan and make sound business decisions
• A positive can-do attitude and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
• Advanced Excel skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Thoroughness and attention to detail
