- A CBD based hands-on role which involves general reception duties.
- A confident, well-organised and full of common sense and initiative.
- A new and vibrant front desk team in Auckland city central.
Responsibilities :
* Welcome guests from all corners of the world to our beautiful hotel, whilst building relationships with new and regular guests
* Checking in and checking out guests
* Allocation of rooms & amending reservations
* Answering guests' phone calls and emails
* Resolving guest complaints
* Daily cashiering and other general Front Desk duties

This is a full-time position with a rotating roster of morning (7.30am to 3.00pm) and evening (2.30pm to 10pm) shifts which include some weekends and public holidays.

Skills and experience
* Proven experience in a similar role within Front Office
* Excellent English and customer service skills
* Friendly welcoming manner
* Strong organisational and time management skills
* Attention to detail Experience with hotel computer systems such as Little Hotelier, booking.com back stage system, Opera, Siteminder, is an advantage.
