Alexandra Park is currently seeking a Gaming Cashier to work in the gaming room in the Alex Bar & Eatery.

We are looking for a competent, self -motivated person with awesome customer service skills to join our team as a Gaming Cashier.

If you have a confident, outgoing personality with common sense and the ability to work independently this could be the role for you.

It is important that all our staff deliver a quality of service to our guests so candidates must have the following:

• Excellent cash handling skills
• Desire to deliver excellent customer service & hospitality
• High degree of accuracy and confidentiality in all transactions
• Fast learner with the ability to pick up new systems
• Ability to work shift work, including early mornings, late nights, weekends and public holidays
• Strong verbal & written communication skills with a good command of English
• High standards of professionalism and grooming
• A clean police record
• Efficient and reliable with the ability to work independently
• Gaming knowledge would be an advantage

Your responsibilities will include the following during your shift:

• Opening or closing of the gaming room depending on your shift
• Handling of floats
• Gaming & jackpot pay outs
• Responsibility for all customer service within the gaming room
• Cash handling
• Cash out Eftpos transactions for all Alexandra Park clientele
• Balancing floats
• Keeping the gaming room clean and tidy
• Become familiar with and adhere to the Gaming Act 2003
• Minimum of 30 hours per week
