We’re looking for Head Chef that can fit into our team as soon as possible. Our cafe is located in Hamilton. We are looking for  someone with passionate about the food & experienced Chef and  utilising your exceptional food production skills, customer knowledge & flair for food to do this.
As much as we like to have fun, a business focused attitude & the ability to maximise & generate sales and outstanding customer service, is key to success!.....all this along with a smile!!

What you would be doing

The main things that you would be doing include:

• Food preparation and cooking, plating, presentation
• Maintaining and ordering stocks and supplies
• Practical cooking duties and working as a team in the Cafe kitchen
• Liaising with suppliers & weekly ordering of products
• Playing a key role in the support, development & training of Cafe staff
• Ensuring that customers are happy & well fed
• Ensuring the Cafe FCP is followed and updated regularly 
• As part of the Team Maintaining customer service standards at the highest level

Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for candidates with the following attributes:

• Must have at least 3 years or more experience.
• Creative, and passionate about food and providing high standards of food service
• Positive attitude and ability to thrive under pressure

This is a long term, permanent full-time position & applicants must be eligible to work in NZ & prepared to work weekends & public holidays. We are a day time Café and Hours can be between 6am and 4pm and available and willing to work weekdays and weekends (no late nights). Immediate start preferred.
