We have a vacancy for a Duty Manager/Barista at our recently opened Bar and Eatery – “Flax” located in the Prestons Subdivision.

About the role:

• Reporting to the owners you will be responsible for overseeing daily bar and eatery operations.
• There will be weekend and evening shifts.
• This is a permanent part-time position working within a 7 day business
• This position is very hands-on and you’ll need to be able to work all areas of the bar and eatery

The perfect candidate must have:

• At least 2 years’ experience working as a duty manager in a similar environment
• Minimum of 2 years' experience as a Barista
• Hold a current LCQ and General Managers Licence.
• Understand that your skills and attention to detail will contribute to the overall dinning experience of our customers.
• Are able to think for yourself and manage others to ensure any spare time is put to use.
• A good overall knowledge of food and beverages.
• Hold an appropriate New Zealand working visa or residency/citizenship
