Our Restaurant is a 'New to Market' Fine Dining Restaurant offering the finest Chinese Cuisine.

Redwall 1939 was created by Chairman Mao's Executive Chef 'Cheng Ruming'

Since 1992, Cheng's grandson 'Liu Jian' has learnt his grandfather's fine art for creating Chinese Dishes of utter splendour, which will now be served at Redwall 1939 in the Rose Gardens of Parnell. Auckland.

To assist Liu Jian in the opening of this fine restaurant we require:

Experienced Wait Staff

You will receive continuous training, and be a part of a team that values your opinion. You should be confident with serving customers with a great understanding of the sequence of service, food & beverage, and what makes you a great waiter/waitress

Excellent food and wine knowledge and an edge when it comes to serving guests
Copes well under pressure
Minimum of 1 years' experience in high end venues
Knowledge of wine and cocktails
A strong understanding of formal service sequences
Great references. 
Great work ethic 
A love of all people, delicious food, great drinks
Be super organised with a great eye for detail
To be successful in this role you will have at least 1 - 2 years of experience working in an a la carte restaurant, a positive attitude and good communication skills.

The ability to speak Chinese or Mandarin would be great although this is not essential.

Experienced Bartenders

At least 1 years of general bartending
Cocktail bartending experience ideal
General Managers Cert / LCQ 
High level of personal presentation
Personality plus!
all applicants must be eligible to work in NZ and should have new Zealand residency or a valid work visa.

Positions start frome beginning of July 2018
