Lakes Lodge Wilderness Retreat specialises in hosting group events including; conferences, weddings, family reunions and birthdays. We can accommodate up to 96 people on site, complete with 3 separate conferences rooms, bar and restaurant catering up to 130 people.

This person will make sure the Lodge operates smoothly and efficiently so that we meet the expectations and needs of customers and clients for day to day running.

This person must open to direction and a collaborative work style within a small team, and a commitment to get the job done. Must be willing to work alone and not afraid of long hours when required. Weekend work will be required.

Role includes, but is not limited to the following:

• Managing all aspect of running the functions on the floor during the day and night as required
• Increase the effectiveness and efficiency of services through improvements to each function as well as coordination and communication between functions.
• Stock ordering
• Setting up & packing down of function, this also includes team building activities
• Managing and training casual staff
• Lodge and outdoor/grounds maintenance
• Office experience an advantage
• Bar experience essential
• Late nights required
• Previous experience in food and beverage
• Sole charge from time to time.

Full time, required to live onsite -  two bedroom house provided
