Woodside is soon to open in Manukau City. This venue also includes a function facility which will cater for a wide variety of events including weddings and corporate functions. We are looking to employ an experienced Chef to be involved in this exciting new venture who has excellent culinary skills, creativity and a real passion to produce innovative food and enhance the overall dining experience of our customers. This new environment will be a place which values your individuality and concern for customer service and satisfaction. Duties include :-
- Food handling
- Food preparation
- Overseeing Kitchen Staff & managing kitchen when necessary
- Complying with Health & Safety policies
You should be :-
- reliable
- have high standards of personal hygiene
- good communication
- a willingness to learn fast
- an attention to detail
- an ability to multi-task under pressure when the restaurant has busy rush periods
- a team player with an ability to work positively alongside fellow staff
- have relevant working experience and training certificates for a commercial kitchen.
