Cafe Chef (30 Hours)
We are looking for professionals that are passionate about food, reliable and a team player with excellent communication skills to work as a part of team. Our food range and menu will be mostly European based with touch of Asian flavours.
- Have at least 2 - 3 years of experience in cooking at a café or restaurant in a fast-paced environment.
- Organised, clean, tidy
- Capable of working in a timely manner, especially when under pressure
- Knowledgeable regarding food safety and be able to maintain a kitchen food safety plan
- Be able to contribute ideas to create fresh and appetizing menus quarterly
- Able to minimize food waste
- Passionate about the food you cook and up to date with food trends
- Able to cater for special functions and caterings
- Hard working, adaptable, reliable, punctual and dependable
- Have a friendly, positive, can do attitude
- Able to work in a team environment and alone
The cafe is open 6 days, and this position may require some weekend shifts.

Barista and FOH (Part-Time)
We are looking for an experienced Hospitality Professional with coffee making skills to join our front of house team.
Some of the main duties are:
- Using the POS system
- Have good 'latte art' and 'grinder adjustment' knowledge.
- Be able to build great relationships with our customers
- Great customer service skills and be prepared to go the extra mile to meet customer's needs.
- Fast and quick thinker.
- Upbeat attitude and a team player.
- Delivering food and coffee to the table.
- Clearing tables and other standard cafe tasks.
The successful applicant will:
- Provide warm and engaging customer service
- Have 2 year experience as a barista
- Work well in a team and contribute to a
positive team culture
- Be reliable and punctual
- Work hard, and have a lot of energy
- Have a positive can-do attitude
