EIT has commenced a major project to replace its existing financial management systems and is about to seek RFPs from shortlisted vendors. This project is a large and complex undertaking, which we expect to take approximately 12 months to complete.
We are now looking to expand the team that will manage this project and also to backfill for EIT finance staff who are involved with the project. We would consider options for part-time or full-time work for the duration of the project or a lesser period.
We are looking for people with some or all of the following attributes:
• A strong understanding of best practice finance and accounting processes
• Experience with the implementation of finance systems
• Project management experience
• Experience in leading or playing a key role in process improvement
• Broad experience across oversight of transactional processing, management accounting, financial accounting, budgeting and forecasting
• Excellent stakeholder management skills across all levels
• A quick learner who can easily slot into an existing team and hit the ground running (backfill)
• Strong management accounting skills, in particular with budgeting and forecasting (backfill)
• Excellent communication both written and verbal
The project is based at our Taradale campus, but some remote working may be possible at times. Please provide details of your experience and skills, together with preferred involvement in the project or back-fill along with your availability, by Sunday 22 July.
