Assistant Manager
What we're looking for
For our Penrose branch:
This job is about giving people a great experience at Big Fish and the right person will go out their way to do that. We are looking for someone who loves looking after people. You will have natural warmth and your personality will shine through. But most importantly you will know how to have fun at work but are professional at same time.
In this hands on role you will support the management team as required within the restaurant. Supervise the shift, including but not limited to opening and closing, delegating jobs, organising sections, handling emails, taking on responsibility for dealing with any customer complaints and training of new staff. You will have the ability to ensure all staff are working to their full potential, checking and correcting staff with regards to our set up and performance expectations. You will be able to run your own section, have experience in hosting and are able to maximise seats and reach targets
Do you have at least 3 years experience in hospitality and can manage to remain calm in a busy, fast-paced environment, keep organised and professional with a smile – we want to hear from you!
Senior Waiter
What we're looking for

Waiter/ Delivery Driver
What we're looking for
- Mentality to excel in hospitality
- full nz drivers license and experience driving in auckland
- Being able to take care of your own section, carrying a tray, clear tables
This job is a multitask position as you will be on the floor some days and have access to our company car to deliver foods on other days. You must be confident working in a restaurant with basic waiting skills.
