This is a permanent position and our client will be seeking a candidate who has a minimum of three years’ experience within a similar role and be able to reflect the business ’s key values.
This is a strictly cooking role and you will need to have a proven track record. Attitude will be most important around here as you will learn from one of the best chefs in town.
For this role you will need:
• Experience dealing with high-quality covers in a busy environment
• Have great pride in the food you put out
• Thrive under pressure and this will bring out the excellence in your abilities
• Understanding food safety requirements and execute this knowledge religiously
• Experience of a high level of cuisine, be up-to-date on modern methods and techniques.
Clink restaurant & bar will require a fast paced chef who puts a high standard on the quality of your work. This is a great opportunity to be part of a fantastic team, with a great culture in a loved Sumner restaurant. This role is an immediate start.
The chef we are looking for will be:
• An experienced senior CdP or sous chef
• A great communicator
• Stays focused and motivated under pressure
• Confident in their cooking abilities being able to put out up 100 plus covers in a service at a consistently high standard.
