This is one of Wellington’s most exciting opportunities for 2 experienced Duty Managers. If you have a passion for hospitality, exceptional customer service skills and proven competency developing and motivating staff, I want to meet you!

Responsibilities of the role include:

• High end customer service - non-negotiable!
• Team building and motivating staff
• Recruitment and training of staff
• Daily communication with the General Manager

Our new Duty Managers will have extensive experience and knowledge of hospitality establishments and service standards. 

To apply you will have the following attributes:

• A minimum of 3 years' Duty Manager/Front of House experience in a high volume, fast paced environment
• Relentless passion for the hospitality industry 
• Ability to multi-task and manage an entire bar and restaurant team with staff numbers ranging from 10 to 40
• A current Duty Managers licence 
• Hands on approach - we don't do office based Managers here!
• An excellent knowledge of NZ craft beer and wine
• Strong management skills and charismatic leadership style
• Proven experience in developing and training staff
• Well organised and creative with excellent service and presentation skills
• Positive and outgoing attitude
• Flexibility to work shifts including days, nights and weekends
• Team player with the ability to work under pressure
• A desire to grow and be developed as a hospitality professional
