Responsible for managing the Branch’s overdue loans and implementing the organisation’s policy and procedures on credit and collection activities at branch level. You will maintain the professional image of the organisation by appearance, behaviour and the manner in which the service is provided.
Responsibilities include:
- Contributing to the development and overall credit management policies and evaluate current systems and procedures
- Daily phone calls to customers based on daily reports
- Maintain accurate records of customer credit and collection activities
- Prepare reports on the status of credit and collection activities
- Make recommendations relating to the provisions to be made for bad debts
- Liaise with other credit controllers and the recovery team to contribute to effective cash flow management
- Develop and maintain good customer relationships including showing empathy for their financial position and individual circumstances
- Providing support as required to the lending function
