The Opportunity
We have an excellent opportunity for a Senior Trainer to join our Suntory Coffee team in Auckland. This is a permanent, full time opportunity currently based in Parnell, moving to a purpose built, roastery and national head office located in Highbrook early 2019.
Reporting to the National Field Manager and working with the wider Sales team, the Senior Trainer is responsible for championing and leading the New Zealand coffee training strategy in National Key Accounts and the HORECA channels.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Define and lead the NZ coffee training strategy
- Implement standardised internal training platforms
- Support National Key Account Managers to create bespoke training platforms
- Audit adherence to training platforms
- Field Training support
- Key Account and Distributor training for a defined territory, including call cycles
The Ideal Candidate
To be successful in this role you will have:
- A LOVE for coffee
- Significant coffee experience and solid understanding of the coffee industry
- Solid understanding of coffee machinery
- Strong customer relationship capabilities
- Experience as, or interest in becoming, an industry leading coffee trainer
- Ownership/ accountability for delivery of results
- Strategic thinking and analytical skills
- Strong planning and organisation skills
- Excellent communication and capable of engaging a group
