On site Managers - Vintners Retreat

We are offering a golden opportunity for an enthusiastic and energetic couple to run one of Marlborough's largest accommodation properties, set among the famous vineyards and wineries of this stunning region.

Vintners Retreat is a tourism property with 14 individually owned self,-contained Villas, available for year-round reservations. Set in park-like grounds with views of vineyards and mountains, a swimming pool and tennis court, this really is a great life-style appointment. 

This is a varied and autonomous role in which the Managers will run the entire operation on a day to day basis, including:

• Guest hosting, front desk and reservations
• Assisting the preparation of budgets, invoicing and Xero accounting
• Health and Safety
• General maintenance and repairs
• Staff recruitment and management
• Maintaining policies and procedures
• Marketing
• General administration

Reporting to the Directors, the ideal candidates will have sound business acumen, be able to manage and deliver financial targets, while also providing five star levels of service and satisfaction to the retreat guests.  Experience in a similar operation preferred.

This is a live-in position (no pets), and the package includes a fully furnished two-bedroom apartment, with power, telephone, and internet. Start date: Early September 2018.
