The Pacific International Hotel Management School in New Plymouth seeks a further staff member for full time employment to deliver Front Office subjects to students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.   PIHMS delivers highly relevant industry focused training in a simulated 4-star hotel environment.   Students are exposed to experiential learning fulfilling the roles of guests and managers, alongside their full time studies.

Applications are sought from suitably experienced people who are eager to join a dynamic team in a busy workplace and who will enjoy working with young adults and be able to supervise and instruct groups of students in a simulated Front Office environment. 

The successful appointee will display evidence of:

  • Minimum 3 – 5 years relevant industry experience in Hotel Front Office Operations including Night Audit and Reservations.
  • Experience with computerised Front Office OPERA PMS
  • Minimum Bachelor Degree or vocationally relevant qualification
  • An ability to acknowledge and respond to a diversity of cultures
  • Experience in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Excellent personal grooming and presentation
