Job Description
Reporting to the Country Manager and working alongside Operations, the successful applicant will be responsible for:
- Coordination & support of Trip Leaders - Itinerary Co-Ordination, Air scheduling & organization of all pre tour material & operational information
- Support operations team to maintain strong working relationship with vendors, problem-solving for on road issues (operational or traveler issues)
- Support Country Manager in various reporting on areas such as Trip Leaders Land reports and traveler surveys and feedback
- Updating operational/supplier changes-communication to Trip Leaders
- Support achievement of Regional & Product Excellence goals
- Ability to drive performance at fast pace environment and work under pressure
- Effectively participating with travelers on site to support trip leaders and obtain live feedback from passengers
- Share responsibility for 24/7 Emergency support and driving resolutions of operations/customer issues
The selected candidate should possess:
- A commitment to excellence
- New Zealand nationality or Residence with minimum Tourism Certificate educational background or related tourism experience
- Proven and effective travel industry experience (Minimum 1-2 years)
- Excellent interpersonal / communication and problem solving skills
- Fluency in written & spoken English
- Proficient in Microsoft Word / Excel
- Ability to implement US Global Corporate Company of performance driven strategy on product quality, operation initiatives and cost management
- The ability to work independently and take initiative
- Strong Teamwork skills
